Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-3) vs Newcastle, Ziyech and Kante start
Chelsea entertain Newcastle United in this afternoon's Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are currently on a four-match winning league streak, and will be aiming to extend the run against the Magpies.
It won't be an easy challenge, considering the Tyneside outfit are unbeaten in their last nine league outings with 21 points.
Predicted Line-up:
Edouard Mendy has been a regular in goal when available for selection. He is an undisputed choice for the Premier League games, and will be eyeing his 11th clean sheet of the top-flight campaign.
This could be one change in central defence. Antonio Rudiger is expected to make his comeback after being rested against Norwich. He should partner Thiago Silva and Andreas Christensen.
With Reece James sidelined with a muscle injury, Cesar Azpilicueta could continue at right wing-back. Similarly, Saul Niguez should start on the opposite end with Marcos Alonso's doubtful to start after coronavirus.
Mateo Kovacic partnered Jorginho in the centre of the park in midweek. The Croatian should be swapped with N'Golo Kante, who was excellent in his nine-minute cameo at Carrow Road with a late assist.
Further forward, there could be a solitary change. Mason Mount and Kai Havertz are widely expected to keep their places after making two goal contributions apiece on Thursday.
Timo Werner could make way for the return of Hakim Ziyech. The Moroccan has recently been an unused substitute, but has scored in each of his last three league appearances.
Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-2-1): Mendy; Christensen, Silva, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Kante, Jorginho, Saul; Ziyech, Mount; Havertz.
