Chelsea travel to Kenilworth Road for tonight's FA Cup fifth round tie against Luton Town. The Blues will be aiming to bounce back from the League Cup final defeat to Liverpool.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • Predicted Line-up:

Kepa Arrizabalaga was on the bench on Sunday, but came on for the penalty shoot-out. He was unsuccessful in winning the League Cup for the Blues, but should be backed to start against Luton.

Thiago Silva appears set to be rested, having been an ever-present figure in the back three. Trevoh Chalobah and Antonio Rudiger could be accompanied by Malang Sarr. Andreas Christensen is out with an Achilles issue.

Both Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso could be handed a breather. With Reece James deemed unfit, Christian Pulisic could be tasked with playing at right wing-back with Callum Hudson-Odoi on the other end.

There could be a complete midfield reshuffle. Jorginho was only a late substituted at the weekend against the Reds. He should make the XI alongside Saul Niguez, who has hardly played lately.

Further forward, Hakim Ziyech is a definite absentee with an Achilles problem. Thomas Tuchel may go with Timo Werner alongside Kai Havertz in attack with Romelu Lukaku leading the line.

Lukaku looked lively in his second-half appearance against the Reds, and was denied a goal by a marginal offside decision. The Belgian needs to fire tonight to boost his starting prospects going forward.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-3): Arrizabalaga; Chalobah, Rudiger, Sarr; Pulisic, Jorginho, Niguez, Hudson-Odoi; Havertz, Lukaku, Werner.
