Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-4-1-1) vs West Ham

Arsenal welcome West Ham United to the Emirates Stadium tonight. The Gunners have the chance to break into the top for of the Premier League with a victory.

Predicted Line-up:

Aaron Ramsdale kept his seventh clean sheet of the league campaign against Southampton last weekend. He had to earn it with six saves. The England international is expected to continue in goal.

Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes are set to start in central defence for the 14th game running. Takehiro Tomiyasu has been a splendid signing at right-back, and has been ever-present since his arrival. He is set to start with Kieran Tierney continuing at left-back. The Scot has registered an assist in each of the last two games.

In the centre of the park, manager Mikel Arteta could be tempted to rest either Granit Xhaka or Thomas Partey. The former could be handed a breather after starting back-to-back games following his return from a knee injury. Albert Sambi Lokonga appears likely to replace him.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinell played in the wide midfield roles last weekend. The duo registered an assist apiece, and could keep their places ahead of Emile Smith Rowe and Nicolas Pepe. Martin Odegaard has hit peak form recently with a goal in each of his last three games.

The Norwegian should be a confirmed starter in the number 10 position. Alexandre Lacazette is expected to lead the line after a fine showing at Southampton where he opened the scoring. Eddie Nketiah may get some game time off the bench with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang axed from the matchday squad.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-4-1-1): Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Saka, Partey, Lokonga, Martinelli; Odegaard; Lacazette.
