Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Portsmouth

Arsenal are scheduled to face Portsmouth on the road in tonight's FA Cup fifth round tie.

The Gunners were recently ousted from the Europa League by Olympiacos and the FA Cup now remains their only chance of winning a trophy this season.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Lineup:

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is likely to make a string of changes for the game and it could start from the back where Emiliano Martinez may get the nod ahead of Bernd Leno in goal.

Sokratis is expected to feature in the central defence and he could be accompanied by winter signing Pablo Mari. The Spaniard has yet to make his competitive debut for the Gunners and has solely played for the Under-23s.

On the right side of the defence, Ainsley Maitland-Niles may get a rare appearance ahead of Hector Bellerin. However, Bukayo Saka should keep his place at left-back with the trio of Sead Kolasinac, Kieran Tierney and Cedric Soares either injured or lacking match sharpness.

In the centre of the park, there may be starts for Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira. The latter has not made a single appearance since the club's return from the winter break and he will be keen to prove himself with a solid display at Fratton Park.

In the attack, we are fancying a complete overhaul from the recent Europa League meeting. The senior quartet of Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette may drop to the bench. Joe Willock may slot in the number one spot with Gabriel Martinelli and Reiss Nelson out wide while Eddie Nketiah is likely to lead the line.
