But the 50-year-old has gone down in the Yorkshire side's history as the first manager to go winless in 12 consecutive league matches at Turf Moor (D6, L6).

Any hopes of halting that unwanted run will depend on Burnley's ability to keep it together at the back after failing to keep a clean sheet in seven consecutive Premier League games.

Unfortunately, Dyche can ill-afford to fall back on his side's scoring prowess, with the Clarets bagging just three goals during that seven-match sequence.

You have to go back to late January and Burnley's 3-2 win over Aston Villa to find the last time they managed to score more than once in a Premier League fixture at Turf Moor.

Arsenal enter this round amid ironic chants of 'we are staying up' as Mikel Arteta hopes to lead his side to back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since May.

A hard-fought 1-0 home win over whipping boys Norwich City last time out snapped the Londoners' three-game losing start to this Premier League season (L3) and steered them away from the drop zone.

That scoreline was a bit underwhelming considering Arsenal attempted 30 shots against the Canaries, more than they managed in their opening three league matches combined.

However, Arteta remains an unpopular figure among the Gunners faithful, who are growing frustrated with their side's lack of ability to interfere in the top-four race. 

Seeking his first away league win of the season, the Spaniard will be keen to improve his side's slow entries to improve Arsenal's hopes of gathering momentum.

The visitors have already conceded six first-half goals in the Premier League this season - more than any other side in the division - falling behind within 22 minutes in both top-flight trips so far.

After keeping a clean sheet in his first two appearances for Arsenal, Aaron Ramsdale could become the first Gunners shot-stopper since Wojciech Szczesny in 2010 to make it three in a row.

Regardless of the outcome, we could be in for a cagey, low-scoring affair, as six of the seven Premier League games between these two here have featured under 2.5 goals.
